Riehata Triumphs Over Honey J for Main Dancer Title in Leader Level in World Street Woman Fighter

The June 10 episode of Mnet’s World Street Woman Fighter (Episode 3) brought an emotional and high-stakes battle as dancers competed for the coveted main dancer position in the leader class mission.
While Honey J’s choreography was a final candidate, it was Riehata’s piece that ultimately won favor and was selected. Disappointed but determined, Honey J declared, “I’ll do my best to take the main dancer position.”
As practice began, however, Honey J faced an unexpected challenge—the language barrier. While fellow dancers bonded in English and Japanese, she remained quietly focused, later admitting, “The choreography wasn’t even that difficult. I thought I could become the main dancer if I practiced. But the language barrier is real. There’s nothing I can do.”
In a heartfelt conversation with Leejung, Honey J confessed, “I felt really left out. The leaders were all talking in English, and I’m not that fluent, so it was hard to jump in. I kept thinking, ‘What if I were more globally famous?’” She continued, “I’ve only worked domestically. I’ve really been a frog in a well.”
Leejung offered support, saying, “The fact that you recognized and accepted that—that’s something I respect. If I were in your shoes, I might have denied it.”
Despite the emotional weight, the episode’s climax was a rematch between Honey J and Riehata after their standout performances caught the judges’ attention. Following the first round of performances, the fight judges made the unexpected decision to request a special rematch between Riehata and Honey J. Ultimately, Riehata was chosen as the main dancer, expressing gratitude through tears, “I will do my absolute best to help everyone shine. I will create a performance video where everyone can feel like they’re the main dancer.”
Later, Honey J was named the worst performer in the leader class dance video mission, sparking emotional reactions. Director RieHata stated, “I wanted a bit more power. There were language barriers, and I know she struggled, but she could have proven herself more through dance compared to the other five.”

Honey J, named worst dancer, responded, “My circumstances are my own. I did my best, but if that’s how it’s seen, I have nothing more to say.” Feeling isolated among English-speaking leaders, an emotional Honey J teared up, saying, “I tried so hard to stay upbeat to and push through. My heart hurts.” BUMUPS, penalized 50 points, fell to the bottom of the crews in the score rankings.
